Next month, we are restarting my Adventures in Shadow campaign, set in Gloamhold. (Hooray!) The campaign is going be much more of a sandbox campaign than we’ve recently run, and this presents a minor problem for me as I love to be super prepared for the game. So I thought I’d ask you, how do you prepare for a sandbox game?
Help me prepare my game, by leaving your advice in comments in the below.
If you are a Pathfinder player you would have to live under a rock to not know about the new edition blitzkrieging toward the community.
At the end of the last session, we left our heroes—led by the heroic Vilimzair Aralivar—battling for control of the Man’s Promise.
At the end of the last session, we left our heroes plotting to take back the Man’s Promise from Scourge and Plugg after they discovered that one of their number—Kanbrar—had decided to stay on the island.
And for bonus points, what kind of animal companions or familiars do we have?

I run an occasional weekend Pathfinder game for my son and his friends. The last session ended in disaster when they all died horrible deaths at the hands of a pack of zombies led by a depraved goblin priest.
One of the players had his revenge, though, when he rolled up these stats (witnessed by three other players and an increasingly annoyed GM)…
Of course, one of the other players immediately offered to buy the stats.
Damn, I wished I thought of that…
