At the end of last session, we left the PCs about to open a stone door that seemingly had not been opened for many decades or even centuries.
At the end of last session, we left our heroes deep below the Sunless Citadel in the hitherto unknown second level of the place. The party moved down the corridor and Krorz listened at one of the doors. Hearing nothing, the PCs opened the door and discovered a huge room full of mushrooms, fungi and other noisome growths.
At the end of last session, we left our heroes recovering after a danger-filled, near fatal expedition into the Sunless Citadel. Although they had been successful and slain dozens of goblins and hobgoblins many of the party had suffered grievous injuries and so they recuperated for almost two weeks.
At the end of the last session, we left the party in a middle of a desperate battle. Krorz lay shamming death in front of three hobgoblin warriors. Unfortunately two of the three spotted his sham and attacked, but incredibly at the last moment he rolled away from their blades and made it back to his comrades without suffering further injury.
At the end of last session, the party were about to open what they assumed was a door to another small cell deep in the Sunless Citadel. A small cell did indeed lie behind the door, but as Kemmo opened it, he discovered several giant rats dwelled within.
At the end of last session, we left the party in an ancient crypt of Baklunish origin. One stone door hinted at other hidden areas beyond and, theorising that more undead and their treasures lay that way, the party tried to gain access. It quickly transpired that although the door was not trapped, rubble behind it made opening the door difficult. Eventually, the party managed to open it enough for Belivar to slip through.
At the end of the last session, we left our heroes charging into a room stuffed full of around 20 – 30 kobolds in pursuit of the tribe’s fleeing sorcerer chieftain. At the sight of such a large group of enemies, sanity broke out and the group bravely retreated from the kobold’s lair.
At the end of last session, the PCs were preparing to move further into the complex after heroically retreating from a strange watery creature that seemed impervious to their weapons.
At the end of last session, the PCs rested in Falcon’s Hollow after successfully saving the village from a terrible disease. However, their rest was to be relatively short as they heard that there was need of their services to the west in the village of Oakhurst. It seemed that a small band of adventurers had gone missing in the nearby Sunless Citadel and that the mother of two of the missing was offering a substantial reward for their safe return.
