At the end of last session we left the heroes in Ratikhill recovering from their recent exploits. While the group spent some much deserved downtime, Klara discovered more of the mysteries of her patron (Fharlanghn) and also engaged a henchman – Maban Annear, a human bard of grandiose ego and boundless ambition. Belivar also secured the services of a henchman – Jory Menadue – a human fighter and an incorrigible gambler.

At the end of last session, we left the party digesting the news of who was behind the constant attacks on Ratik (according to the evil dragon, Vesicwyr).
Last session, we hit a milestone – we’ve got through an entire year of game time! That’s pretty cool (although at times I marvel that the group is still alive).

Four days after leaving the Monastery of Montelegron, the party reached Ratikhill. The balance of their journey had been uneventful and they were eager to reach Sampo Masterson’s house. (The party had previously rescued Sampo and most of his family from bandits and the tailor had promised them a warm welcome if they should ever come to Ratikhill.)
