Several weeks ago, the survivors of the main adventuring group staggered back into Glister after retreating from Xul-Jarak. They rested in Glister overnight – sending messages onward to Ratikhill via fast horseman. Their injuries were great, however, and so they elected to rest a few days before making their own way to Lord Nanther.

At the end of last session, we left our heroes yet trapped in the bowels of Xul-Jarak. They had climbed through several levels and had dispatched many orcs. However, at this point, they suddenly decided to turn around, retreat back deeper into the dungeon and try to find a place to rest overnight.
At the end of last session, our heroes staggered back into the border town of Glister after a harrowing expedition into the Loftwood. However, not all the party made it back to Ratik: brave Hemgor and his two companions – Glynt and Gwendar – fell before the orcs and had to be left behind.

At the end of last session, we left most of the PCs retreating from Xul-Jarak after the orcs of the place repulsed their assault. Klara and Maban had already fled the scene, aiming to return to Glister to raise the alarm as it seemed their were far more orcs lurking at the citadel than had been originally thought.

At the end of last session, we left our heroes arguing about their next course of action. Klara (along with Maban) eventually stomped off believing attacking the fortress was suicide. Without Klara, the discussions continued and eventually the party decided to storm Xul-Jarak in a desperate attempt to free the trapped adventurers and disrupt the Bloodspear Ceremony.
