If you’ve purchased any of Raging Swan Press’s physical books chances are pretty high that you’ve seen some of Matt Morrow’s epic artwork.
I love Matt’s Old School style, and I think it’s the perfect accompaniment to Raging Swan’s products. Matt also creates all the banner graphics for creightonbroadhurst.com. He’s just created a new one for me. In fact that’s the image displayed above.
What’s also cool is that the image is actually a cut from a larger graphic:
I didn’t order this graphic for any particular product, although (obviously) I’ll need to write an adventure or encounter featuring a purple worm in the near future! And–fun fact–the archer is meant to be my son’s character (although what a 4th-level ranger is doing fighting a purple worm is beyond me; not even I’m that cruel as a GM!)
Also (and finally) Matt’s part of Encoded Design’s Patreon campaign. If you like his style, you can sign up to get cool character art ready for use in your campaign (or to serve as your own character sketch) every month. As you know, I’m a huge fan of Patreon (our Patreon campaign has been a tremendously positive influence on Raging Swan) so if you if you want cool artwork, I’d urge you to take a look at Encoded Design’s campaign.
