At the end of last session, we left our heroes seemingly victorious on the beach have defeated the possessed villager and their skum overlords.
I think it’s safe to say that over the last four decades D&D has gone through changes great and small. As each different edition has been created and refined, it’s designers have stamped their own individual mark on the game. While 1st Edition AD&D and Pathfinder both flow from the same wellspring, they are markedly different games.

At the end of last session, we left our heroes in dire straits. Trapped in Tessarael’s tomb by the undying one herself the party were low on resources. As they waited for their enemy to descend the stairs, they frantically used what healing magic remained to them. Sounds of more spellcasting (and cackling) drifted down the stairs from above as Tessarael also prepared for the final battle.
